Euonymus alatus 'Compactus', or more commonly known as the 'Burning Bush' is a Sensational accent or hedge desired for the intense scarlet red fall coloring. Interesting compact, mounded form displays attractive rich green leaves spring through summer. Deciduous. Moderate grower to 6 to 8 feet tall and wider, or clip to shape. Full sun. Winter hardy to -30 to -20°s. Enjoy its fiery fall color along borders, as a hedge, or to be a bright spot on a dreary cloudy autumn day. Use with glossy leafed evergreens for maximum color contrast.
