Blue Storm agapanthus, or 'Lily of The Nile' is a tough, no nonsense plant effective in the landscape, especially when planted in mass. Healthy green bladed foliage produces a dense clump, with bell shaped flowers on short sturdy stalks mid summer. Clumps about a foot tall by about 20 inches wide, flowers stalks to 30 inches. Blue Storm is excellent for containers, and its uniform growth makes it suited for formal edging along walks, lawns and driveways. Creates a more naturalistic edge when used along flagstones. Ideal source of blue for middle of the border. Shipped potted in soil to ensure the best possible start when planted in yard or garden.
