Blue princess holly is a wonderful plant to have around this time of year. Evergreen and cold hardy, these smaller specimens can be wrapped with seasonal paper or cellophane and placed into the hands of a friend or loved one, sure to brighten anybody's day. Ilex blue princess has unique, blue green foliage and purple stems that create a lovely backdrop for white and silver colored plants. Use this holly variety as a single specimen or plant in mass. Its bright red berries look gorgeous under snowfall; use blue prince holly for berry set. Plant at the back of shrub and perennial borders for reliable year-round foliage. Leave un-sheared to attain full height and width for screens. To 8 feet or so if left unclipped or prune to desired size and shape. Hardy to USDA zone 5 and all higher zones. Keep soil consistently moist until established. Two plants shipped potted in soil.
