The Big Blue Lilac, an introduction by Monrovia nursery, is a larger lilac that is also big on performance, with spectacular clusters of fragrant lavender-blue flowers. This super-sized version of an all-time favorite is perfect as a tall hedge, screen or accent. Large flower clusters are excellent in fresh cut arrangements. Deciduous. Full to partial sun. Fast grower to 12 feet tall and 6 feet wide or clipped shorter. Hardy to USDA zone 4 and all higher zones. Shipped fully containerized in the plant's original 5 gallon nursery pot.
