Barbara Karst bougainvilleas will treat you to rosy red flowers all summer long, doing best if planted in full, hot sun. If far enough from the water, very effective around swimming pools or on hot sunny decks. Plant your bougainvillea as a vine and watch it grow to about 12-15' tall and wide. In mild winter areas, protect this amazing flowering vine over the winter for repeat enjoyment. For gardeners in severe winter areas, treat your bougainvillea as an annual, or keep it in a container and move it to a warm enclosed patio or greenhouse over the winter. Hardy to USDA zone 10 and all higher zones. Shipped potted in soil to ensure the best possible start when planted in yard or garden.
