Install this variegated dwarf banana at the front of a border, or as a small specimen in a perennial or tropical border. This colorful perennial has bold maroon leaf markings that adorn the large leaves. This Musa variety produces small bunches of edible yellow fruit. Your ‘little piece of paradise’ will grow quickly to about 2 to 4 feet tall and wide. Plant the banana in full sun to partial shade. Evergreen. Shipped potted in soil to ensure the best possible start when planted in yard or garden. Hardy to USDA zone 9 and all higher zones, or use as indoor plant.
