The Bacon avocado is a variety for all avocado climates, producing avocados that are medium sized, green skinned with a taste that is flavorful, smooth and creamy. Tree is upright and very cold hardy, taking temperatures into the 20’s. Self fertile. Ripens October to January. Avocado trees do best in loose, rich well draining soil. Shelter from constant winds. We ship all of our avocado trees potted in soil to ensure a healthier start when planted in orchard or garden.
