Angel White Lilac, a variety we picked up from Monrovia growers, is desired for its large trusses of pure white flowers spring time, with captivating fragrance a bonus. The Angel White has erect and open branches with rich green foliage, growing to about 8-10 feet high or easily clipped to shape. Prune your lilac when it is in bloom to bring some of its beauty and aroma indoors. It is a deciduous shrub, growing best in full sun. When the excitement of spring in your garden has faded, never fear, as there is still more to come. The Osmanthus fragrans, also called Sweet Olive begins its show late spring into summer, making tiny white flowers with an incredibly powerful, yet subtly sweet aroma...apricot like in fragrance. Use the lilac or the sweet olive in containers near patio or deck where the fragrance can be enjoyed where people congregate. The lilac hardy to USDA zone 3, the Osmanthus to USDA zone 8, more with protection. Both shipped potted in soil to ensure the best possible start when planted in yard or garden.
