The Blue Ice Arizona Cypress, also known as Cupressus glabra 'Blue Ice' is an evergreen tree growing in a compact columnar form to about 15 feet tall and about 8 feet wide in 10 years or clip to shape, and then eventually taller. This cypress variety has mahogany colored stems with foliage that is intensely steel blue giving a color contrast that is quite striking. Use this cypress in full sun in soil that drains well. Hardy to USDA zone 5 and all higher zones. Use in the garden as an accent mixed with other boldly colored shrubs or perennials, as a wind or sound break, and along your property line. Use in container on large deck or patio. The Blue Ice Arizona cypress is a tough, low maintenance plant. Shipped potted in soil about 4 feet tall
