The Amber Carpet Rose is one of Monrovia Nursery's newest introductions into this successful plant line. The amber carpet rose will go from soft red buds, to an abundance of semi-double, peachy amber flowers, fading to seashell pink. The blossoms that envelope the plant are fragrant, a first for the carpet rose series. This carpet rose variety features higher disease resistance than the others, and is beautiful in containers where the color can drape over the pot edge. Mass plant for an awesome splash of color spring through fall. It is a vigorous, but compact shrub to about 24 to 30 inches tall and wide or clip to shape. Plant your carpet rose in the full sun for best results. No fancy pruning required, just clip to keep tidy. Hardy to USDA zone 5 and all higher zones. Shipped potted in soil to ensure the best possible start when planted in yard or garden.
